Relaxing in Mount Barker - The Barker Hotel

The place I prefer to relax with a beverage or two is The Barker Hotel. It has a warm, relaxing, friendly atmosphere, comfortable and modern decor and up-market feel. I have heard many locals describe it as a "Yuppy Pub" since it's rennovations, but being originally from Sydney, New South Wales and having been a World Traveller in my youth I would rather consider it "Cosmopolitan"

 

Mount  Barker is a growing Semi-Rural Community with many modernised surroundings but still retains the beautiful Rustic and Rural feel that  entices the Tourist and Holiday Makers to the area.

The Barker Hotel has a Sports Bar, Two Lounge bars, a Beer garden, Gaming Room and a Dining room and is my own personal choice of venue.

All I can say is "Welcome to Barker "

Welcome to Mount Barker – South Australia and its inaugural first posting on the Blog.

This Blog is an independent publication and is in no way connected to the Mount Barker District Council, the Adelaide Hills Tourist Association or  South Australian Tourism.

The Blog contains my own uncensored personal opinions, views and reviews designed to assist visitors to the area find wonderful places to visit and venture to.

It will also, contain occasional political observations which I may feel worthy of sharing.
